COMMANDER’S CORNER

I would like to thank all the Legionnaires and Auxiliary that put all their time and effort into a great Xmas celebration.
The food for the needy was a great success, thanks to so many for all the caring.
As we go into the last year of this century, let us all resolve to be as supportive as you have been in the past.  If you have not renewed your membership, now is the time to do it!
Wishing all at American Legion Post 95 a most wonderful and prosperous New Year.

  For God and Country.

Ken Wild, Commander

MEMBERSHIP REPORT

As of this newsletter our membership is 1031.  The goal we are requested to meet by the Department of Tennessee is 1367.  That means we need 336 to reach that goal.

January 1st Post 95 is changing the “key card lock” so that you must have a membership card dated 1999 to gain admittance to the Lounge.  There will be some one inside the Lounge issuing new key cards to all who have paid their 1999 dues.  You may also pay your 1999 dues at that time.

Carl Athearn, Adjutant, 867-7644

Cathy Brown, Asst. Adjutant 165-1610
