It is very important for you as a veteran to belong and support veteran organizations. This is our muscle to get our officials to maintain our benefits. I hear so many times from veterans who would not commit to belonging to any organization. Numbers is what we need to get more and better benefits.
Our CAVC with 40 veteran groups, has picked up the ball when it dropped and carried it to our goals. Our logo states "AMERICA IS #1 THANKS TO OUR VETERANS."
Join a good organization. We need support, you will feel better, and Post 95 is the place to belong.
When a veteran's family or funeral home calls, the first question asked is, what organization does he/she belong?
It is never easy to make calls to Honor Guard members, clean and load rifles, but it gives you extra incentive if you have tried to lend your support. At our next regular Post 95 meeting we will start wearing our blue coats and black tie for the Color Guard.
Ralph C. Wilson
Honor Guard Commander 866-0138
