Miss Veterans for Good Government added beauty to the May 2, 2008, Armed Forces Day Parade in Chattanooga.  She is Beth Warren, a student at University of Chattanooga Tennessee, and took part in the parade as well as the luncheon
Veterans for Good Government was organized in 1994 to support candidates and legislation that recognizes the needs of veterans and the military.  Receptions have been held for such candidates as Fred Thompson, Zach Wamp, Jim Henry and others.
VGG has had an entry in the Armed Forces Day Parade since 1995.

Miss Veterans for Good Government, Beth Warren, met Charles H. Coolidge, Chattanooga's most famous veteran and recipient of the Medal of Honor award, and was told her generation is "the hope for America."   Francis Coolidge stands behind her husband and Bob Lahiere, former National American Legion vice commander, is in the background.  They were attending the 2008 Armed Forces Day Parade luncheon.
