Daryl Hannah Gets the Itch

Daryl Hannah follows in the footsteps of fellow US stars Nicole Kidman, Kathleen Turner and Jerry Hall appearing on the London stage in The Seven Year Itch.

The play, based on the Tony Award winning Broadway show by George Axelrod, and 1955 Billy Wilder's movie classic starring Marilyn Monroe of the same name, tells the story of a middle-aged married man who fantasizes about the girl next door when he finds himself home alone in Manhattan while his family is away for the summer.

Like her predecessors, Hannah will not re-create the famous skirt-blowing scene where Monroe cools herself under the subway grate while her skirt blows above her waist exposing her underwear, but there is a gratuitous nude scene that Hannah might (or might not!) do.
